The Pentalaser
The Pentalaser was an enormous Demon superweapon forged from Demonium. It was constructed with the express purpose of destroying entire worlds.
A Pentalaser has been used by the Demons to destroy Core. After the Legerian War, Vec used the Pentalaser to destroy The Snowy Mountain.
History #
The Pentalaser was one of many superweapons forged by the Ultimate Evil for destroying the different worlds of Creation. The Demons would typically prepare for the weapon's arrival following their initial invasion of a world.
The Demon Wars #
The Legerian Pentalaser arrived in 4 DHT, although the might of the United Legerian Forces was much stronger than expected. Unable to evacuate their combat asset from Legere, the Demons opted instead to hide the weapon deep within the Phayu Wing Mountain Range. A Demonium key was forged to lock the chamber holding the weapon. The keyholder of this artifact, General Xadu, was arrested and the key was confiscated by the Cornerstone Foundation.
After the Ancient Wars, the Pentalaser key would find itself in the collection of the Righteous Order's collection of supernatural relics.
The Ebon Alliance #
After the Legerian War, the remaining members of the Ebon Alliance would begin seeking out the Pentalaser by following instructions left behind by the Dark Mage Zak.
A covert operation led by Sabina Tiama Domina would recover the key from the Righteous Fort before bringing it to Hyperius' Palace. There, Imperator Hyperius, with the help of Songkram scientists that had worked on creating Cev, would build the cyborg Vec, incorporating the key into his design in order to find what it unlocked.
Vec's Terror #
Vec would go to the Phayu Wing Mountains, and unlock the Pentalaser's hidden chamber. From there, Vec would bring it down from the mountains and fire it upon The Snowy Mountain before being destroyed.
